There’s a few things you should know about me. For starters, my favorite television shows include “Friends,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Modern Family,” and most recently “Schitt’s Creek.” I love to read, having amassed well over 500 books on my Goodreads list. I have a nice cozy family that includes my husband and two daughters. And in the midst of a global pandemic, he and I decided it was a great time to move to a new state, hours away from family and friends.
From this bit of information, you can now surmise that I’ve got an excellent sense of humor, am pretty well-read, operate as a wife and mother on a daily basis, and am a bit of a risk-taker. Oh, and I speak fluent sarcasm. Now moving along …
The Mom Experiment comes from my desire to stop striving toward the myth of the ‘good mom’ and instead be fulfilled in all the ways of my life. Trust me, there’s nothing more fickle than my ability to rock this mom/life balance. Won’t you join me on this journey?
